Common Name (s): Beach Strawberry, Chilean Strawberry, Coastal Strawberry

Family: Rosaceae

Type: Perennial

Bloom: Spring, followed by fruiting in early summer

Flower Color(s): White

Sun Exposure:  Full sun/part shade

Plant Hardiness Zones: 4 to 9

Plant Height and Spacing:  4 to 6 inches / 24 to 30 inches

Planting Requirements: Well-draining, average soil

Special Note (s): Can be useful as a groundcover for slopes or erosion control. Has some drought tolerance and is deer resistant (will attract birds).
